These “blue screens of death” appear intermittently, while other users are experiencing different series of errors during common operations on the operating system. According to early reports, these August 2020 cumulative updates for Windows 10 could be affecting more PCs with Lenovo Thinkpad machines when Hyper-V, Intel virtualization or Windows Sandbox features are enabled.
Of particular concern are errors related to system slowdown, but also with longer boot time, fewer FPS in games, external hard drives that don’t work, and even a slower-than-usual file explorer.
