The two global public cloud leaders are expected to be the biggest contributors to the market this year, due to their ambitious plans to expand into new markets.

Companies such as Google and AWS are adopting more aggressive purchasing strategies, while Microsoft is being more cautious about buying servers, partly because they are waiting for the mass arrival of Intel’s Hissi Lake server platform, the mass production of which will still be delayed somewhat.
