The great advantage of Microsoft Edge is that it is a browser that is based on Chromium, so it is much more adapted to current Internet standards, which it seeks to position as a “faster, safer and more modern” alternative.
The Internet Explorer 11 desktop app will be retired and on 15 June 2022 will no longer be compatible with certain versions of Windows 10
